Nupron 2g is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is indicated for the relief of pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with various conditions such as arthritis, joint pain, menstrual pain, and minor aches and pains due to: • Osteoarthritis (OA) • Rheumatoid arthritis • juvenile idiopathic arthritis • Ankylosing spondylitis (ankle spurs) • Peyronie’s disease • Sclerosing gout • Genital ulcer disease • Myocardial infarction (heart attack) • Stroke • Raynaud’s phenomenon (a condition characterized by redness, swelling, and pain in areas of the body that are cold or clammy) • Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) products, such as Voltaren Gel and Sterile Gel, are also indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with these conditions. This is the only non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) approved by the FDA. The active ingredient in Voltaren Gel is diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Voltaren is available in 1mg and 5mg strengths, and is indicated for the treatment of pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with OA and rheumatoid arthritis.

Do not use Voltaren Gel if you are allergic to diclofenac or aspirin. If you are allergic to NSAIDs, aspirin, or other anti-inflammatory medications, do not use Voltaren. Voltaren gel may cause stomach bleeding. If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, tell your doctor before using this product. They may harm your unborn baby. Ask your doctor about the risks and benefits.
This product is for adult use only. Do not use Voltaren Gel if the seal is broken or if the lot number is changed. Do not use Voltaren Gel on broken or missing lot numbers. Do not use this product on children under 12 years of age.
Do not use Voltaren Gel if the expiry date printed on the pack has passed. Voltaren gel may contain preservatives or fertilizing organisms. See the "Fertility" section for more information.
